We can relieve the suspense around what mini-courses we will offer in 2012.  Mini-courses are personal enrichment classes for adults who want to have an immersion experience while learning more about the world around them.  Participants do not earn college credit.

In 2012, Mary Whitmore and Bob Hess will again teach "Birds of Northern Michigan."  Kevin Cronk, Monitoring and Research Coordinator for Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council, will debut "Aquatic Macroinvertebrates of Northern Michigan."  And Eric Hellquist, who teaches Field Botany during our regular summer session, will offer "Wetland Ecology."

2012 mini-courses will run from Wednesday, June 13, to Sunday, June 17.  Registration will open Monday, February 13, 2012.  Fees and registration forms will be available on the Mini-Courses section of our website at that time.
