U-M Biological Station Virtual Information Session

Learn About 2024 Courses and Scholarships at the Campus in Northern Michigan
Wednesday, January 31, 2024
5:00-6:00 PM
Off Campus Location
Students are invited to a virtual Information Session on Zoom to learn about the courses being taught at the University of Michigan Biological Station in northern Michigan during the four-week spring and summer terms in 2024. We welcome all majors and minors. No prior field experience is required. UMBS staff and alumni will answer questions about the historic field station, course credits, scholarships, research opportunities and their experiences immersed in nature.

Registration is required in advance to attend the virtual Information Session.

The more than 10,000-acre research and teaching campus is located along Douglas Lake just south of the Mackinac Bridge.

The U-M Biological Station in Pellston is one of the nation’s largest and longest continuously operating field research stations.

For 115 years, students and scientists have lived and worked as a community to learn from the place. Together, they help forecast how organisms, populations, communities and ecosystems will function in the future under conditions that humans have never seen before.
