Nature Day Camp Assistant (1)
The UMBS Nature Day Camp Assistant will help develop and lead activities for children whose families are living and working at the UMBS Pellston campus June 16 – August 1, 2025. Primary responsibilities include developing and delivering environmental educational activities to children ages 4-7 and 8-12. Science Communications Intern (1)
The science communications intern at UMBS will help tell stories that share the research, education and transformational experiences immersed in nature at the field station in Pellston, Michigan, and support marketing and communications efforts May 19 through Aug. 1, 2025. (Start date can be later, if needed.) Primary responsibilities include shooting photos/videos in the field, writing stories/captions, and helping set up for field station events such as the Summer Lecture Series, dances, and Open House. Hourly pay rate is $16 - $18 per hour for up to 40 hours per week work schedule. Housing and dining at the Biological Station will be provided during the appointment. Weekend work may be required.
