Headings should be used to order content on the page, similar to an outline.

Many times we use headers to emphasize text. The Page Title is the H1 on the page. Many departments skip H2 and use H3 to break up content on the page. Having H3 on the page without an H2 is a violation of web accessibilty. Screenreaders and tab order use these labels to create a structure for users.

Create helpful link text that describes the destination of the link.

Ideally, alt text is similar to a Tweet, no longer than 140 characters.
Quick test: Remove the image from the page. Are you losing information? If the answer is yes, your image needs alt text.
There are some instances where alt text may be longer.
Images thave have text as the main focal point such as quotes, should have the text input into Alt Text Field in the DAM Asset.
This allows users using a screenreader or users that have a hard time understanding text easily to benefit from the information provided user without these challenges.
