LSA TS maintains a small pool of equipment for short-term loans. The availability of equipment can vary, is not guaranteed, and priority is given to classroom support and device repair. Loaner equipment is intended for emergency, short-term use and is generally for no more than 3 days.
The available equipment, listed below, can be picked up at any of our walk-in locations:
LSA TS maintains a small pool of Windows laptop computers which can be used for longer periods of time. Approval for a long-term loan is reviewed on a case by case basis and is limited based on availability and need. There is no guarantee that a long-term loan request will be approved or be available for use.

LSA TS provides walk-in service at several offices around Central Campus:
Office hours for the service desks are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
To check out equipment you must provide a valid University of Michigan ID. Equipment is signed out on a first come, first served basis.
To request a long-term laptop, contact the LSA TS Service Desk and specify how long the computer is needed, the reason, and any request for additional software.
Contact the LSA TS Service Desk and specify the equipment, when it is needed, and the anticipated return date. Any loan request exceeding 7 days requires LSA TS management approval. Approval for longer-term equipment loans is reviewed on a case by case basis and is limited based on availability. A completed Loan Agreement is also required.
