New batteries supply approximately 200 hours of use. The original iClicker remote uses 3 AAA batteries. The iClicker+ remote use 2 AAA batteries. Low battery indicator lights will indicate that you need to replace the battery.
No, we are not able to track down a lost or stolen remote. Be sure to keep it in a safe place and do not loan it out for others to use.

You will need to register your iClicker remote on Canvas by clicking on the iClicker Registration tool in your course navigation menu. Enter the 8-character remote ID listed under the barcode on the back of your remote. We recommend registering iClicker using the Google Chrome browser, as it has proved to be the most reliable. After registering, you will see a verification table.
Your iClicker remote ID is printed on a sticker located on the back of your remote. The ID is the 8-character code below the barcode. Newer iClicker remotes have a secondary ID location in the battery compartment. The remote ID will only contain letters A-F and numbers 0-9.
Yes, you may register multiple remotes for any reason. iClicker will link both remotes to your name so that you receive credit for votes you made with either remote.
Your instructor needs to synchronize his or her iClicker gradebook to get the latest registration information. It may be that your instructor has not done this since you registered. Your in-class votes were recorded by iClicker and, once you register your remote, these votes will be associated with you the next time your instructor syncs the roster within the iClicker software.
No, you only need to register in one location on Canvas. Once registered, your information will automatically apply to all of the classes in which you are enrolled and using iClicker.
If you register a wrong remote ID, simply remove the incorrect entry from the Canvas iClicker Registration tool and register again with the correct information. Let your instructor know that you had to update your registration because they will need to resync the roster in the iClicker software for your newly registered remote to match with your name.
