When using iClicker Cloud, all student data is saved on iClicker's secure servers and available to you and your students anytime, anywhere. Cloud access is always free for instructors, however, students may need to pay for an account depending on what school/college the course is affilated with.  Question types include multiple choice, true/false, short response, numeric, and target (heat map).

Instructors may choose from two options for how students will participate in polling:

Mobile Device Polling: Instructor uses iClicker Cloud software which provides access to data anytime, anywhere as well as an online gradebook and additional question types. Students poll using their mobile devices (smartphone, tablet, laptop).

iClicker Remote Polling: Instructor uses iClicker Cloud software which provides access to data anytime, anywhere as well as an online gradebook and additional question types. Students poll using iClicker remotes (available for purchase at the U-M Tech Shop).

Getting Started with iClicker Cloud

LSA Faculty

Email LSATechnologyServices@umich.edu to schedule an iClicker Cloud consultation. We will assist you in training and setup of the iClicker Cloud software.

iClicker Cloud accounts are free for all LSA faculty and students.

Non-LSA Faculty

Please contact the technology support group for your school/college.

iClicker Cloud instructor accounts are free for all faculty.  Student accounts are free if your school/college is apart of the iClicker Cloud Enterprise License Consortium.  The consortium currently includes LSA, College of Engineering, Dentistry, Med School, and SEAS.

For all other schools/colleges, students are prompted to pay for their iClicker Cloud account.  If your school/college is interested in joining the iClicker Cloud Enterprise License Consortium, please email Emily Ravenwood at eraven@umich.edu for more information.
