Canvas

In Canvas, you have access to the course syllabus, assignments, files, discussions, and more depending on your course and instructor. All U-M students can log in to Canvas at canvas.umich.edu using your U-M uniqname and password. Loan Equipment Available

Check out the Loan Equipment Catalog to browse our available loan equipment.

LSA Technology Services has three equipment loan centers on the University's Central Campus where LSA instructors, faculty, staff, and students enrolled in an LSA course may check out a wide variety of audio/visual and camera/video equipment.

  • LSA Navigation Desk (First floor of LSA Building)

Before using this service:

  • To check out equipment, you must provide:
    • A valid University of Michigan ID (LSA affiliation required for the majority of Loan Equipment)
    • The specific date and time you will return the equipment (within our maximum checkout limit)
    • The U-M building name and room number of where the equipment will be used (if you cannot provide a U-M building name and class number, you will need to provide your local address)
    • A phone number at which you can be easily reached
    • The class or event for which the equipment will be used

Need a computer loaner for a longer period of time? 

  • In recognition of the technology barrier created by the pandemic and in support of a healthy, safe, and caring environment, ITS created the Sites @ Home laptop loaner program. It is available to students on the Ann Arbor campus to support your academic needs for up to two semesters.

MPrint is U-M's printing service that allows campus community members to print from their computer or mobile device to many printers on campus.

DUO

U-M students are required to enroll a device in Duo two-factor when they create their U-M uniqnames and passwords. Two-factor means that when you log in, you provide two proofs of your identity.
