With flexible work opportunities, there may be challenges being separated from on-campus offices, labs, and resources. LSA Technology Services (LSA TS) is here to help, and is providing all of our Research Support services remotely.

What can LSA TS help with?

We are happy to brainstorm ideas for how you might leverage our services to evolve and continue your research mission remotely. 

  • Unable to run site-dependent experiments? Visits to the field or archives postponed? Human subjects engagement curtailed? Are there aspects of your research that could be translated to an online or virtual format with the right technology?
  • Are you pursuing new funding opportunities to help transition to remote research? We can assist with describing technologies or provide a letter of support confirming access to a particular technology service.
  • What technologies beyond basic video conferencing might help foster collaboration?

How can LSA TS help?

All of our Research Support services are available virtually, and we can assist with technology solutions for adapting your research to work remotely.

We are happy to schedule virtual meetings to discuss your needs. Please contact us at LSATechnologyServices@umich.edu or you can call 734.615.0100.

We are also offering virtual, drop-in Research Support Office Hours three times a week:

  • Mondays, 2:00–3:00 P.M. (Join via Zoom)
  • Tuesdays, 10:00–11:00 A.M. (Join via Zoom)
  • Thursdays, 3:00–4:00 P.M. (Join via Zoom)
