LSA Technology Services is welcoming three new Desktop Support Specialist Supervisors to allow us to improve services, reliability, and customer service to LSA units. Karen Wilson, Kyle Roberts, and Laura Green will be responsible for supervising desk-side support staff and the day-to-day responsibilities of desktop and research technology support needs across our LSA departments. During the month of March, we will be transitioning the new supervisors into regions and beginning more specific outreach to the departments.
Karen Wilson is well known for her smiling face here in LSA Technology Services. After starting in the service desk area twenty-two years ago, she worked her way up to a Lead position and was the interim manager for CSG these last few months. New to our U-M family is Kyle Roberts who is joining us from Thomson Reuters where she was known for successfully coaching, empowering, and motivating teams with a sense of unity and shared purpose. Laura Green is no stranger to U-M as she was the Tech Consulting Supervisor at ITS. During her time there, she developed a new training program and fostered her team's culture around customer service, teamwork, mutual respect, and positivity.
To support our teams in each of the building locations below, there are now supervisors or managers assigned to each desktop office location:

We are excited to have three strong supervisors to work on our collaboration efforts between the desktop support teams. With more focus on aligning our desktop environments and leveraging employee strengths across regions, we will be able to enhance services and have more people partnering with key stakeholders.
