Three new team members joined us in July and August. Learn more about their positions and why they are excited to join LSA Technology Services. Welcome Jennifer, Jenni, and Rachel!
Jennifer Gregory, Research Software Programmer
Jennifer comes to us after working as an aerospace software engineer. Prior to that, she was a software engineer for educational technology. She was also Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Oregon.
In LSA Technology Services, Jennifer will be working with our Research Programming Team. She will partner with researchers to understand their technology needs and create solutions that accomplish their research goals.
Jennifer is excited to be able to work on a variety of interesting projects and learn new things!
Jenni Patterson, Project Manager
Before coming to LSA Technology Services, Jenni was a Design Manager Senior at U-M’s Center for Academic Innovation where she oversaw the project management of online learning experiences. Prior to that, she served in several roles managing and supporting study abroad and international education programs.
In her new role with LSA Technology Services, Jenni's primary responsibilities will be focused on continuing to help us develop and support our cross-organizational project management capabilities.
She is excited to learn more about the projects LSA Technology Services wants to implement and is eagerly anticipating diving in to support them. She is also looking forward to meeting new colleagues and learning more about all the different teams within our department.
Rachel Richardson, Desktop Support Apprentice
Rachel has been in the tech support space for six years. Prior to joining our team, she started tech support in K-12 and then shifted to work from home for an automotive software company. Before transitioning into tech, Rachel spent six years working at U-M in the biomedical research store.
She is a part of our Hardware Lifecycle Team, helping build new computers and dispose of old devices.
Rachel is most excited about everything she gets to learn! She is especially excited to be a part of a team that encourages growth and the pursuit of knowledge.
