Realigning our tier-2 IT support

LSA Technology Services is realigning how its regional tier-2 IT support teams are organized.

Manager and supervisor placement

We assigned supervisors and managers to all of our regional offices. Adhering to a couple of principles: keeping supervisor to staff ratios low (between 4–7 individuals), working to enhance relationship management with our units, and focusing on operational efficiencies, we’ve decided the following manager/supervisor staffing model:

  • Angell Hall — Supervisor: Karen Wilson, Manager: Laura Shelp
  • BSB — Manager: Stephen McClatchey
  • Chemistry — Supervisor: Kyle Roberts, Manager: Stephen McClatchey
  • East Hall — Manager: Laura Shelp
  • LSA — Supervisor: Karen Wilson, Manager: Laura Shelp
  • MLB — Supervisor: Karen Wilson, Manager: Laura Shelp
  • Randall Lab — Supervisor: Laura Green, Manager: Laura Shelp

When will the management/supervisor transition take place?

During the month of March we will onboard and transition staff to work directly with their new supervisors.
