Interested in incorporating new instructional technology into your classroom? Want to try out an instructional strategy you have never done before? Does your project require technology, resources, or graduate assistance? There are a variety of funding opportunities available to faculty in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts.
Some grant opportunities include faculty project grants, new initiatives/new infrastructure grants, and teaching transformed grants. Level I Faculty Grants of up to $5,000 are available throughout the year to support creative efforts in using instructional technologies in undergraduate courses. Level II Faculty Grants of up to $15,000 are available to faculty and/or groups of faculty looking to carry out more substantial and especially innovative undergraduate curricular developments that take advantage of new instructional technologies. New Initiative/New Infrastructure, also known as NINI Grants, are available to faculty seeking to improve teaching and learning in LSA through the creative use of digital resources or information technology. Finally, Teaching Transformed Grants are available to individual faculty members who have had little to no direct experience using technology in their teaching, but who are eager to learn and explore technology-based pedagogies in transformative ways.
