This January, Canvas will launch a new and upgraded editing tool, the Kaltura Editor. Use Editor to trim videos or to create clips of the most interesting sections. “String videos or clips together to highlight similar content, and add subtitles and cue points to enable chaptering, advertising, and deep search.” The editing tool can also be set to jump to a particular point in the clip, eliminating the need to locate the exact section during class. The new Editor also improves security, accessibility, and user experience.The Editor will be released on January 15, 2018.
