Introducing Expanded Service Centers and the North Campus Technology Checkout

LSA Technology Services Service Centers increase support to faculty, students, and staff.
by Marciel Peres, Media Consultant

LSA Technology Services is excited to announce two new service offerings and strategies for supporting faculty, staff, and students. Starting this fall, our Service Centers located in Mason Hall G340, Modern Languages Building 2001, and East Hall 1056 provide a one-stop location for your computing support, Audio/ Visual and computing equipment loans, and classroom support. In addition to the Service Centers, we continue to provide limited computing support from our Randall Laboratory 2428 and Chemistry Building A541 offices as well as concierge services from our LSA and Central Campus Classroom Building (CCCB) Navigation Desks.

We are also excited to share that in a collaborative effort between the College of LSA, College of Engineering (COE), and the Duderstadt Center, we are extending our equipment loan service to North Campus at 1315 Duderstadt. This pilot partnership is a great example of the expertise and service we provide in technology equipment loans. LSA and COE have almost 65% of the U-M student population. This partnership and equipment loan expansion provides users with access to technology equipment needed to support their coursework, and with prior arrangement, will avail users the option to return and check out at all equipment loan locations across North and Central Campus.
