InstructureCon 2018

This year’s InstructureCon was in Keystone, Colorado. Topics included new features in Canvas, Peer Meetings and an exciting presentation about an open source LMS development community, Tsugi.

Dr. Chuck Severance was one of many representatives from University of Michigan who attended this year’s InstructureCon in Keystone, CO. Dr. Chuck presented his Tsugi project in Learning Management Systems (LMS) tools.

TsugiCloud is a free app store for all LMS systems, including Canvas. Users can quickly install the tools from the platform into their Canvas instance or Google Classroom. The tools include a Youtube use tracking tool, course map, simple attendance tool and a peer-graded dropbox, and many others. More information on these features can be found at www.tsugicloud.org
