LSA Technology Services will be performing standard IT maintenance on the LSA Linux and Windows servers and various network appliances. These servers and services may be temporarily unavailable between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 24.
What are we doing?
We're performing routine maintenance:
- Applying firmware and software updates
- Performing additional hardware and software maintenance
- Testing disaster recovery plans
- Unracking decommissioned hardware
What services will be impacted and for how long?
The following services may have intermittent outages between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm Saturday, February 24:
- Bomgar screen sharing
- Distributed File System (DFS) links using \\dfs.lsa.umich.edu-based paths
- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- OpenShift-based services
- SharePoint services for the college and university
- SQL databases and reporting services
- Unit Websites (AEM), but not the editing functions or the LSA Gateway
- Windows Lifecycle Management System (WLMS)
- Windows Web Application Hosting (WWAH)
