Improved Technology Support through Online Chat

Anyone can now easily reach an LSA Technology Services team member regarding their technology needs through any computer or smartphone!

LSA Technology Services continues to make it faster and easier for the LSA community to get help by providing a new option to chat with an LSA Technology Services team member. This service is available to anyone accessing any of the pages on the LSA Technology Services website with no single sign-on needed. Plus, the extended hours are great for students looking for quick answers to technology issues after our regular business hours.

LSA faculty, staff, and students can reach out via chat to get help with computer questions, loan reservations, or anything technology related. This service is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. If you need assistance outside of these hours, please reach us at or submit a ticket.

As part of our strategic goals, LSA Technology Services prioritizes continuous improvement and looks for new and better ways to support the LSA community to help enable the liberal arts from anywhere. Providing support via chat was quickly launched in only seven weeks with the help of several LSA Technology Services staff members. All of this hard work was accomplished while continuing to respond to high request volumes via our other support options during this challenging pandemic environment. The team will continue to search for other ways to continually improve our service and support faculty, staff, and students as we learn what is important to others
