Great Turnout for the Technology Tools for Teaching Demonstrations and Strolling Breakfast

LSA Technology Services hosts 25 interactive demonstrations of learning technologies being implemented in LSA courses.
by Teri Horton, Instructional Consultant

LSA Technology Services was pleased to sponsor the first inaugural Technology Tools for Teaching Demonstrations and Strolling Breakfast. The event was hosted in our largest team-based classroom in the new Biological Sciences Building, room 1060. The space, with 23 team tables and large screens, provided the perfect venue for demonstrating popular technology tools. Almost 100 participants visited the stations that were of interest and sat comfortably around team tables for the demonstrations, all while enjoying coffee and a strolling breakfast.

We would like to thank our partners who presented technologies and made this event possible: UM Libraries, Center for Research on Teaching and Learning (CRLT), Information and Technology Services (ITS) Teaching and Learning, Academic Innovation, School of Public Policy, LSA Technology Services, and a few professors from chemistry and engineering.

If you were not able to attend the event, read the program to learn about the tools our presenters demonstrated or call Technology Services at 734.615.0099.
