AEM 5.7 Code Release Overview

October 22, 2020 AEM Update

On October 22, 2020, Technology Services deployed the 5.7.0 update for the Adobe Experience Manager platform. Included in this update:

Fixes 

  • Unlocking Page issue for authors

  • Filtering in Directory mode when Fields of Study Page is not defined.

  • Asset Versioning issues

Improvements

  • Virtual Information entered into Happening @ Michigan will display on AEM.*

  • Virtual Events will display as “Virtual” and not “Off Campus”

  • Update of Font Awesome Version to 5.14.0 

    • Allows for more Free Icons to display in the Icon Component (ICONS ARTICLE)

    • New Self Edit profile Icon

    • New Instagram Icon

  • Added Padding options for Table Component

  • Add more options for the Full-Width Container for the LSA Sub Page No Nav and for the LSA News Article.

  • Updated Event Calendar to adjust to 5 columns correctly

  • Update styling of LSA TS Status Feed

  • Adjusted text size at desktop, tablet, and mobile for better SEO

Accessibility

  • Adjusted Page Title for all Homepages for better accessibility and SEO

Security

  • Updates to dispatchers for increased security

AEM pulls the Virtual information from this area of Happening:

Events need to be set to Virtual Event. In order for the information to display, do not check the “Require Login To View” checkbox. If this box is checked, then the virtual information is not sent to AEM.
