The Schedule Component is a solution for displaying hours of operation. The development of this component was originally intended for the Natural History Museum website but is also useful for units and programs across LSA. Featuring an Hours title with a calendar icon, this component allows for a start and end time to be designated for each day of the week.
To populate this component, times need to be entered for the ‘Start Time’ and ‘Stop Time’ fields in the configurations (12:00 AM or 12 AM are acceptable formats). If either field is left blank, the component will display Set Time for that day. The ‘Closed’ checkbox can be used for days when your unit or service isn’t open.
The configurations also include Link and Link Text fields to the bottom of the component. The Link field can be populated by using the pathfinder to navigate to the appropriate page within your site.
The highlighted day is controlled by the code. It will highlight the current day to alert your site visitors of the current hours. The color of the highlighted day will match the theme color of your site, unless another color is chosen from the LSA palette in the Color Settings.
