LSA Adobe Maintenance Update 3/6/20 3:00 pm - The Adobe maintenance is complete. All LSA faculty and staff Adobe Creative Cloud applications access should now be restored. The next time users attempt to launch an Adobe Creative Cloud application for first time since the migration, they will be prompted to log in and should use their @umich.edu credentials. Full instructions can be found here for assistance logging in to Adobe Creative Cloud. Thank you for your patience. ----------------------------------------- Update 3/6/20 1:25 pm - The migration process is running slower than expected. Access has been restored to about 40% of users and is continuing for the remaining users. Users should attempt to log in if needed as they may have access restored at any point. ----------------------------------------- Update 3/6/20 1:00 pm - The migration has been extended for approximately 1 hour. ------------------------------------------ On Friday, March 6 from approximately noon-1:00 pm, Adobe will conduct server maintenance that will impact all LSA faculty and staff using Adobe Creative Cloud applications. The actual work is expected to take approximately 20 minutes. During this time, users will be unable to log in to an Adobe Creative Cloud application. It is recommended that users close any applications before noon, otherwise, they will be logged out during this maintenance window. If users are automatically logged out of Adobe applications, impact is expected to be minimal as Adobe auto-saves changes every minute. Users trying to log in may see an error message indicating they are not licensed but can use a trial version. Please *do not* use the trial version. After maintenance is complete, approximately 1:00 pm, all users will be prompted to log in the next time they launch an Adobe Creative Cloud application and should use their @umich.edu credentials. Full instructions can be found here for assistance logging in to Adobe Creative Cloud. Anticipated End Time: 03/06/2020 16:00
While LSA Technology Services always attempt to avoid or minimize outages, the Research Computing and Infrastructure (RCI) team has three mid-semester maintenance weekends every year (typically near spring break, Art Fair, and the fall study break). RCI also reserves an 11:00 PM–1:00 AM nightly maintenance window for ad hoc maintenance with advanced warning to the affected audience.
