About
As a peer writing consultant, everything I do is guided by the most basic belief that every writer has some sacred, idiosyncratic, internal meaning to offer to the world. In this framework, I see my role as a consultant as challenging writers to write with intention. I aim to get the writer talking, reflecting on their own text, and ultimately, to help them build a sense of agency over their own process and their own individual meaning. Writers can expect my consultations to be very conversational. I'll act as a sample reader for their work, probably do some word mapping on a sheet of copy paper, and hopefully leave writers with momentum, feeling oriented and confident in the next steps they'll take when they sit down with their draft next.
