Professor Ambuj Tewari selected as a 2017 Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow in Computer Science
Congratulations to Professor Ambuj Tewari who has been selected as a 2017 Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellow in Computer Science.
The Sloan Research Fellowships are extraordinarily competitive awards involving nominations for most of the very best early-career scientists from the United States and Canada. The Foundation just announced this year's fellows at https://sloan.org/fellowships/.
Ambuj obtained his PhD from UC Berkeley, and joined the University of Michigan as Assistant Professor of Statistics in 2012. He also holds a courtesy appointment at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UM.
