The Future of Work (FoW) Directory contains an open-access, geographically-tagged list of organizations that focus on the future of work throughout the world. This directory was created with the goal of facilitating collaboration between researchers, employers, educators, politicians, economists, activists, and other parties with a vested interest in the changing employment landscape.
We are constantly looking to update and strengthen this project, so please feel welcome to contribute any new or updated information via our submission form.
Navigating the Directory
In the Map View, you can pan and zoom within the map to click on individual markers labelled with the names of different organizations (the markers are located where the group's headquarters are, or where the division related to the future of work is). Once you click on a mark, select "Expand Record" to see all the recorded details about the entity, such as the website address, tags and categories describing their specializations, related events they host, and public contact information.
Clicking the "x" on the Map window and grey toolbar to access the Database View. Using the toolbar at the top, you can select "Filter" to customize the list to include or exclude specified elements—for example, creating a filter "Where Category has any of Grantmaking Network" will show only organizations that have been identified as grant facilitators.
To toggle between views, click the "BLOCKS" name or the icon preceding it in the gray toolbar at the top of the window.
