Flint Justice Partnership

The Center for Social Solutions is proud to sponsor the student-led organization Flint Justice Partnership (FJP). The initiative was founded in 2018 by then-freshmen Michal Ruprecht, Lindsay Miles, Quinn Nolan, Emily Welch, and Demetrius Ford as a nonpartisan organization. They received early support from the Michigan Community Scholars Program and became officially sponsored by the Center for Social Solutions in October of 2020.

FJP's mission is to serve and connect with the Flint community and educate U-M students about the Flint water crisis. Researchers at the Center for Social Solutions act as advisors, giving project management and technical advice, as well as promoting the partnership's events and work.
