Barb was born and raised in Michigan. She began her career with UM in 2000 with the Department of Asian Languages & Cultures. In 2004 she moved to the Science Learning Center. She enjoys working directly with the student staff at information desks at the SLC Main and Satellite. Everyday provides a variety of work which she finds interesting & rewarding from scheduling GSI office hours, working with faculty to place books on reserve for students to check out, to assisting students, working with our partners to provide computer support and day to day needs at the SLC Main & Satellite.
Please note my work hours are as follows:
Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Friday 8:00 AM-2:00 PM
Requests for in-person or virtual meetings may be sent via email or Google Calendar-my free/busy times are publicly available. Email, Zoom or Google chat is the best way to reach me. If you do call my office number, please leave a message, your voicemail will be forwarded to my email and I will respond as soon as I am able.
