Intensive Russian language courses provide the opportunity to rapidly increase your level of fluency and prepare for a study, internship, or work abroad experience!

All of our spring and summer 2021 courses will be taught in a remote format and available to those who are not physically present in Ann Arbor! It's the perfect opportunity to start to learn (or continue learning) Russian. There is no final exam requirement.

Current U-M students may register for Spring or Summer term language course(s) via Wolverine Access.

Summer Language Institute courses are open to guest (non-U-M) students, who may register for credit or for a Program Fee option (not-for-credit status). Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the first day of class. Application materials can be found at lsa.umich.edu/sli.

*All U-M and non-U-M students wishing to take a spring or summer language course for credit are responsible for paying regular U-M tuition. Tuition rates can be found at the U-M Registrar's Office website.
