Our 2024-25 Awarding is Complete
The LSA Scholarship committee has successfully awarded all Four-Year and International Scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year. All recipients have been notified by email. With this, our application and awarding process is now complete!
We're thrilled to share that we've granted scholarships to over 400 out of the 6,000+ admitted students to the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. This represents a significant increase from previous years!

About LSA Scholarships
The LSA Scholarships Office is the home for scholarships within the College of LSA. For many LSA students—over 2,600 in the last year alone—the scholarships provided by our office helped reduce or eliminate unmet financial need and student loan debt. The majority of our scholarships, including those for incoming students, are awarded to students based on their financial need. However, we do offer about forty merit scholarships each year, as well as a limited number of international student scholarships.

Scholarships for First-Year Incoming Students
Four-Year Renewable Scholarships
All incoming students who are U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents may apply for our Four-Year Renewable Scholarship as soon as they are accepted into the College of LSA. By completing this one application, students will be considered for all scholarships they are eligible for through the LSA Scholarships Office. Renewable Scholarships with specific criteria, information not included in a student records, require an additional application.
Some LSA Scholarships are intended to aid students with financial need, and some are awarded based solely on a student's academic merit, whether they are eligible for financial aid or not. Scholarship awards range up to $15,000 per year for in-state students and up to $25,000 per year for out-of-state students. They are renewable for four years of undergraduate study.
All Four Year Renewable Scholarship applications will be made available on January 1, 2025.
International Student Scholarships
All incoming international students who are first-year or transfering from another academic institution, should complete our International Student Scholarship application as soon as they are accepted into the College of LSA. By completing this one application, international students will be considered for all scholarships they are eligible for through the LSA Scholarships Office. Awards can range up to 25,000 USD per year, and are renewable for four or two years of undergraduate study (depending on your admittance status).
All International Student Scholarship applications will be made available on January 1, 2025.
