Lecturer I of Spanish
About
I studied journalism at Barcelona, and literary theory and teaching Spanish at Salamanca. I have worked as a press reporter in Spain and as a Spanish language instructor in Spain and the US. My academic interests include Spanish culture, literature and film of 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. My research focuses on inscriptions of labor protest movements from the early twentieth century to the present, particularly in the audiovisual memory of Spain, as well as extending to nationalisms and peripheral literatures and cultures.
