About
My primary research focuses on the intersections of space theory, urban cultural theory, and literary representations of urban space. Especially in the context of 19th/20th century French novels and film, this research considers the literary and sociopolitical implications of constructing self and community in an urban landscape. I am also interested in queer/body theory, masculinity, and narratology. I hold a B.A. in English and Linguistics, as well as a M.A. in French and Francophone Studies with a Social Theory Certificate from the University of Kentucky.
