RLL graduate student Jim Carter is the recipient of the Marian and Andrew Heiskell Pre-Doctoral Rome Prize in Modern Italian Studies for his dissertation Communities of Labor: Adriano Olivetti and the Redemption of Modernity. The Rome Prize is a highly competitive fellowship awarded annually to scholars in the arts and humanities. Winners receive an invitation to pursue their studies as part of a community of fellows at the American Academy in Rome.
