I obtained the degree of Licenciada of Anthropological Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires in 2018. My research focuses on indigenous history in South America and especifically in the past and the present of Mapuche people of Pampa and Patagonia region. I’m particularly interested in exploring long term collective trajectories before and after 1870s Argentine and Chilean State military expansion over the indigenous territories that succeeded in extinguishing their political autonomy. I study Argentine Southern Frontier history during the 19th century, territorial rights issues in the present and social memory. I seek to combine historical and anthropological research methodologies.
