Awarded by the LSA Dean’s Office, the Kay Beattie Outstanding Individual Employee Award is “presented to an outstanding employee with more than 3 years of service at the University who has been contributing beyond the ordinary fulfillment of duties and taking on increasing levels of responsibility with a significant portion of their career in LSA” (source: LSA website). According to Dean Anne Curzan, Ahlgren’s “nominators wrote extensively about [his] drive, devotion, and institutional knowledge, and how [his] energy and determination to solve problems exemplify the criteria for this award.” Congratulations, Tim!
