According to the American Psychological Association (APA) Division 20, “the Baltes Distinguished Research Achievement (DRA) Award … is Div. 20’s most prestigious award. It has been established to honor researchers with distinguished careers that have featured exceptional theoretical and empirical contributions to the psychological science of aging.” Jacqui Smith will receive a cash prize and a memorial plaque, and she will deliver the Baltes DRA Award Address at the next annual convention.
