The University of Michigan is ranked No. 28 on U.S. News & World Report's list of best national universities. But the fact of the matter is, the home of the Big House admits some exceptional students the likes of Harvard, Yale, and Stanford have never seen.

Business Insider rounds up 17 incredibly impressive undergrads at U of M. The list includes three Psychology majors: Conrad Brown, Tyson Gersh, and Samuel Mikulak.

Conrad Brown, class of 2014, started a new political party and ran for Ann Arbor City Council.

Tyson Gersh, class of 2014, created a non-profit that gives Detroit locals hands-on experience in urban farming.

Samuel Mikulak, class of 2015, competed in the London Olympics on the U.S. men's gymnastics team.
