David Brang will present on “The Analysis of ECoG Data.” In this talk, he will introduce the method of electrocorticography (ECoG), including several examples of the types of questions that this technique is particularly appropriate to answer, common applications, positive and negative aspects, and questionable statistical practices that are common in the field. The talk will foster questions about the optimality of these data as a supplementary tool to other neuroimaging techniques along with how to maximize the efficiency of these data using robust statistics.
