About
Steven Moore is a doctoral student at the University of Michigan. He hails from Columbia, SC and attained a B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Carolina in 2014. He is interested broadly in political behavior, racial and ethnic politics, and political psychology. More specifically, he's interested in the way that racial attitudes, and especially dehumanization, impact voting and support for policy, and the way that media depictions of African Americans can alter this relationship. He's also interested in the way race shapes political attitudes and participation among marginalized groups.
