About
Nick Carney is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at the University of Michigan. His research focuses on regional cooperation between local and state governments in the provision of public goods. He is particularly interested in the coordination of infrastructure policy across administrative borders, as well as how patterns of residential geography interact with electoral institutions. Before his time at the University of Michigan, Nick worked at a variety of public and private policy institutions, including the City of New York. He previously received a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics at Davidson College.
