Yuen Yuen Ang, associate professor of political science at the University of Michigan, is among 31 recipients of the Andrew Carnegie Fellowship.

The fellowship carries a $200,000 stipend, making it possible for recipients to devote up to two years to significant research and writing.

Ang’s research integrates global development, China’s political economy, and adaptive processes of change. She specializes in China but is broadly interested in developing countries and emerging markets.
