The date of the Physics Undergraduate Commencement program coincides with the date of the University’s Spring Commencement; usually the Friday before Commencement. The 2018 Commencement Ceremony will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018.
Where is the Physics commencement?
The Physics Commencement Ceremony and Reception is held in 337 and 340 West Hall.
When will I receive information about commencement?
Invitations are sent out to graduating physics students and their families in March.
What if I apply late for graduation?
Please stop by Physics Student Services (1440 Randall Lab; Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) or e-mail email@example.com to receive an invitation.
What if I graduated in December or will graduate in August?
All physics students graduating during the current academic year (Fall 2017, Winter 2018, Spring/Summer 2018) are welcome to attend the ceremony and reception.
Do I need to RSVP?
Yes, please RSVP to Angela Sands, Undergraduate Program Coordinator at 734.936.0659 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The RSVP deadline is April 18, 2018.
How many guests are allowed per graduate?
Students may invite as many people as they wish; however, because of the size of our venue, seats will be limited. Please indicate the number of guests by the RSVP deadline.
What is the dress code?
Business Casual; please no jeans.
What about parking?
The closest public parking structure is located at the Forest Street Structure (located at South University and Forrest Street).
Is photography allowed?
Yes, photography is allowed.
