Grace Johnson

Grace joined the administrative staff of the University of Michigan in December 2017 as the Introductory Course Coordinator for the Physics Department. Before coming to the University of Michigan, Grace taught sixth-grade science. Grace holds a BA in Middle Level Education with specialization in Science and Social Studies from the University of South Carolina.

Grace is the first person you’ll meet when entering Physics Student Services and she helps visitors find the resources they need. Grace also handles the exam coordination for the large introductory courses in the department, assists in overseeing the Physics Help Room and the hiring of Learning Assistants and Proctors each term, manages email traffic to the Physics SSO inbox, works with our summer REU program, and completes department room requests. Grace greatly enjoys how creative her job allows her to be.
