Second MCTP Spring Symposium on Higgs Boson Physics

Monday, April 16, 2012
12:00 AM
340 West Hall

The workshop program can be found here.
This workshop will feature various speakers.
Local Organizers: A. Pierce, G. Kane, J. Qian, K. Zurek

Registration is required.

The Higgs boson is the key to electroweak symmetry breaking. Rapid experimental progress has lead to exclusions over a large range, and more excitingly, tantalizing excesses. How compelling are the data? What remains to be done to convincingly demonstrate a signal? To demonstrate that it is a Higgs boson? Is it Standard Model-like? What are the theoretical implications of these results? Where can we expect additional experimental progress in the near and long-term? What complementary measurements should we make?

The workshop will run from the morning of Monday April 16th - through noon on Friday April 20th. There will be time left available for discussion each day.

Please see Symposium Website for more details.
