About
Paul works primarily in the philosophy of cognitive science. His research focuses on using computational and empirical research to handle questions about motivation, desire, and agency. He also works on decision theory and the philosophy of AI, and can teach logic as a primary instructor. After a brief stint studying Industrial Engineering in Sweden, he received a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, and a BPhil (Master) in Philosophy, both from the University of Oxford. He likes jazz, hiking, and desert landscapes (both metaphorical and actual).
