Suzy Moffat is a senior in the residential college majoring in Social Theory and Practice and Anthropology and minoring in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and Art and Design. She has been involved with PCAP since 2020, traveling to 17 prisons across Michigan to help select works for the Annual Exhibition. This past year she researched printmaking as a part of the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program and facilitated a printmaking workshop at Women’s Huron Valley, winning a blue ribbon award for her work. In her time with PCAP she has helped develop the role of student curator as a position on the curatorial team. Additionally, she works as a research assistant for the Carceral State Project on the Documenting Conditions of Confinement team establishing a database of testimonies from currently and formerly incarcerated individuals speaking to their experience inside.
