Humanize the Numbers Lecture and Workshop Series

Ruby C. Tapia is Associate Professor of English and Women’s Studies and Director of Undergraduate Studies in Women’s Studies at the University of Michigan. Her teaching and research engages the intersection of photography theory, feminist and critical race theory, and critical prison studies. She co-facilitates a creative writing workshop through the Prison Creative Arts Project at Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility in Michigan.
