We Bear: Behind the Scenes

Virtual Webinar
Thursday, July 14, 2022
2:00-3:00 PM
Off Campus Location
Thursday, July 14 - 2PM EST / 7PM GMT

Here's your opportunity to get an exclusive look into the makings of the compelling international collaboration, We Bear, where people in prison in the US and UK responded to folk art paintings of chained bears.

Hear from Faye Claridge, project creator, and a recently released participant, along with commissioners Coventry Biennial and UK prison education provider Novus.

Hosting the discussion and inviting your questions is the Prison Creative Arts Project (PCAP), who supported artists taking part during extremely difficult lockdown conditions and who are now hosting the international debut, We Bear US, at the Ann Arbor Art Fair on July 21-23.

Speakers:
Faye Claridge - Artist, We Bear Creator
George Rogers - UK Artist
Sarah Hartley - National Lead Creative Strategies, Novus
