OS Special Interest Topic: Public Policy

Liz Brisson (’05) is a Senior Transportation Planner at the San Francisco County Transportation Authority. Her work there is guided by the city's values and goals that match her own: wishing to transform San Francisco to a place that is easier, more convenient, and safer to get around by public transportation, walking, and cycling. Liz is currently in charge of planning a half billion dollar subway to upgrade an existing underperforming surface light-rail. Liz completed a Master's Degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008.
