OS Excel Workshop
OS is offering a series of Excel workshops in September and November exclusively for OS students. Each series will consist of a 1-hour basic topics course and a 2-hour advanced topics course. Students are welcome to take one or both workshops.
The Basic Topics include:
Number formatting - Dates, decimals, currency, phone numbers, etc. / Format painter / Basic formulas & functions - Importance of using cell references, simple calculations, SUM, other basic functions / Cut & paste vs. insert cut cells / AutoFill / Freeze panes / Multiple sheets - Rename, move/copy, delete, etc.
Advanced Topics include:
Conditional formatting / Calculations across multiple sheets / Print Formatting - Set print area, repeating headers, controlling print size, grid lines, headers & footers / Advanced Functions - AutoFill, Date & Time, VLOOKUP, IF, text functions / Data Analysis - Sorting, filtering, subtotals, pivot tables / Charts - bar and pie charts, scatter plots / Statistic functions - ttest, etc.

Session 1, in September, is perfect for students looking to acquire new skills before hitting the job market or internship search.

Session 2 in November, is perfect for students in OS410 to refresh their excel skills.
*Please note, students enrolled in OS 410 have priority registration for session 2
