Driving Social Change Through Cause Marketing
Companies are able to drive social change by partnering with nonprofit organizations or marketing their brands around a social mission. Cause marketing is a win-win for companies as it benefits nonprofits and social causes while building brand awareness and sales. I am interested in exploring this field from the perspectives of both for-profit businesses and nonprofit organizations. I have been involved with several volunteer organizations as a leader and a team member, and I am passionate about social change and helping others. In my future career, I hope to continue to play a part in helping to better society, on both a local and global scale, while utilizing my creativity and problem-solving skills. To expand my knowledge of the role of cause marketing in bringing about social change, my OS pathway will focus on courses in marketing, digital media, human behavior, and nonprofit management.
